Come to NYFW Week With Me: What I Wore to NYFW 2019 (f/w)
I made waves at NYFW with head crowns. Well, I made waves at the bar I went to after NYFW where I couldn’t help but eat macaroni and cheese alone. Two Aussies sat at the bar wondering why I was wearing a crown and asked if I was a queen. #YASQUEEN. I told them, indeed I was.
In any case, I went for a different look this year and stuck to signature black. NYFW is a time when people unfortunately dress so crazy that it’s far from fashionable and actually distracting to the shows themselves. I like to dress well but not so extravagant. This year, I called myself a “corporate mermaid” given I wore my black business suit jacket / blazer but opted for a silk teal bralette / camisole and black flair pants. I’m not sure it worked…but the biggest statement was definitely the crown. The second day of fashion week, I wore a simple black jumpsuit from Aritzia, and made it so that the crown and Chanel wedges would be the focal point of the outfit…and I also wanted to be mega comfortable, haha. What do you think?

Throwback to NYFW 2018 (f/w)
I realized, I never showed off the final looks to last year’s NYFW and I’d say the looks are quite relevant. Check out the look to Ruby Fang’s show at Spring Studios. Which look do you prefer? This year’s or last year’s? Comment below.
