New Forbes Article: How To Cope With The Lockdown As An Extrovert
I Recently Co-Wrote the Forbes Article: “I Can’t Take It Anymore!” How To Cope With The Lockdown As An Extrovert
In this new Forbes article, Professor Karl Moore and I highlight a couple of tips that can help extroverts living in isolation cope (somewhat) with the many battles we’ve fought from home. After quarantining in New York City for months by myself during a world-wide pandemic in the epicenter of coronavirus, I’m glad to know my extroverted ways have provided a support system for others. It has been far from easy but putting into practice the tips outlined in the article, my personal favourite has been “tapping into your entrepreneurial spirit”.
Tap into your entrepreneurial spirit
Featured in the article is The Corporate Diary: the video and article blog series where I interview women in male dominated fields, while sharing my own journey as a minority woman in the corporate world. Throughout the pandemic, I’ve had the chance to double down on the venture and interview more women than I could have before due to busy schedules. With the help of remote work life / working from home, taking interviews from my living room to Instagram LIVE / TV has never made it easier to connect. Ironically, a pandemic has helped many tap into their entrepreneurial spirits while also supporting their own personal projects and work productivity.
Are you an extrovert? What’s your favourite tip and which one have you put into practice? Let me know in the comments below.
